Business Owner Agreement

This agreement is between daymade and you, the person claiming a venue (“you” or the “owner”). You accept it when you submit a claim for a venue and again each time you publish or edit that venue's content. It applies alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

You represent that you own, operate, or are otherwise authorized to act for the venue you claim, and to make the commitments in this agreement on its behalf. If that stops being true, you'll stop managing the venue and let us know.

When you claim a venue, you grant daymade a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, adapt for display, publish, and distribute the photos and editorial and event content associated with that venue — including event names, descriptions, dates, prices, images, and similar material — so we can show it on daymade and in the itineraries, calendars, and promotional surfaces where daymade appears.

This license lets us make ordinary technical and editorial adjustments — cropping, resizing, compression, formatting, and light copy edits — needed to present your content well across the site.

Before you claim a venue, daymade may have already collected photos and event content for it from public sources on the open web (for example, your website or public listings) in order to list your venue. You acknowledge and agree that the license in Section 3 also covers that previously collected content for your venue, so it can continue to be displayed while you curate it.

If any collected item shouldn't be shown, you can edit or remove it from your venue's calendar once your claim is verified, and it won't be republished for a venue you actively manage.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions in the photos and content covered by this license, and that our displaying it as described won't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. You're responsible for the accuracy of the event information you publish or leave standing.

Once we verify your claim, your venue's calendar is yours: you can edit or remove the events already listed, add your own, and review anything new we find before it publishes. We may keep scanning public sources and suggest new events, but for a venue you manage, what you publish is what shows.

You can step back from a claim at any time, and we may revoke or decline a claim at our discretion. When a claim ends, your venue simply flows back onto daymade's community calendar built from public sources. The license above continues only as needed to operate, back up, and wind down the service for content displayed while your claim was active.

Claiming your venue and publishing your events is free. We don't pay you for the license, and you don't pay us to claim or curate.

We may update this agreement; material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date, and continuing to manage a venue means you accept the current version. Questions? Email [email protected].
