Last updated August 7, 2026

Draft — pending attorney review. This is a plain-language first draft to describe how daymade works. It isn't legal advice and hasn't been reviewed by counsel.

1. Agreement to these terms

daymade composes hyper-local day plans and event listings for Washington, DC. By using the site — browsing, creating an account, saving plans, or contributing content — you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use daymade.

2. Your account

You can create an account with your email — we use a magic sign-in link, so there's no password to manage. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be able to form a binding agreement to use daymade.

3. Content you contribute

When you submit events, itineraries, calendars, or other content, you keep your rights in it and grant daymade a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it on and through the service. You represent that you have the rights to what you submit and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.

If you claim a venue as its owner, additional terms apply — see the Business Owner Agreement.

4. Listings and accuracy

Many listings are compiled on a best-effort basis from public sources, so times, prices, and details can drift or be incomplete. daymade is a planning aid, not the official source for any venue or event — confirm the important details with the venue before you go.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping or bulk extraction of our content, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the site, no uploading of unlawful, infringing, or harmful material, and no impersonating a venue or person you're not authorized to represent.

6. Intellectual property

daymade's name, design, editorial voice, and software are ours or our licensors'. These terms don't grant you rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, daymade isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on listings or plans found here.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date, and continuing to use daymade means you accept the current version. Questions? Email [email protected].
