Jewish Page Turners: A Book Club

At this new monthly book club, read a book recommended by our rabbis, share your takeaways, and reflect on how the book relates to your own experience of Judaism and spirituality. To help you get into the High Holidays mindset, September’s book is On Repentance and Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World by Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg. Rooted in the wisdom of Maimonides, the book applies an ancient framework to some of our country’s most painful contemporary issues—from systemic racism and the legacy of enslavement to the #MeToo movement and Native American land rights—as well as personal transgressions. We encourage you to order the book from Politics and Prose Bookstore.
